The Commonwealth Youth Games Pune 2008 believes that education, in the real sense, is developing the spirit of sportsmanship and the forthcoming Games is the apt opportunity to develop and enhance this spirit amongst our youth today. In our endeavour to make the Games as participatory as possible, we invited educational institutions in Pune to be part of the Games. All activities have been initiated for students in standards 7, 8, 9 and 11. |

Educational institutions have selected a participating country as a partner nation and have studied its location, culture, customs and traditions, cuisine, language, history etc. as a learning project. These projects are posted on this link and come October, schools will participate in a float parade depicting their chosen country so that other students and citizens of Pune will also be aware of the participating countries. |
